Buzz about Total 200
The ride was unbelievable from every perspective! The volunteers were more like superheroes coming to our aid. The riders were great, the peanut butter sandwiches and enduralyte were lifesavers, and the logistical organization of the ride could not have been better.

How much do I need to train for Total 200?

The short answer is that there is no short answer to this question. There are too many factors for each individual to see if they are ready for Total 200. But with the proper pacing during the ride most riders feel their training has been adequate. Generally speaking we advice people to have completed at least a couple century rides in preparation and various "double weekends" (meaning riding both days for a combined total of 150 miles). The other aspect is to do some of your training by riding in pacelines. This will make you more confident durign the ride and allow you to work with a group.
